South County Youth Network

South County Youth Network is participating in Fairfax County’s Summer Meal Program for residents of Meadow Woods (Hybla Valley).  SCYN is responsible for recruiting volunteers to help serve meals to this community.  In addition to the meals, SCYN will be facilitating three programs for students residing in the Meadow Woods Apartment Complex.  This initiative will operate from June 22nd – September 4, 2009.

If you’re interested in assisting, please let me know.  Be specific about what you’d like to do.  Mandatory training will be available.  Stay tuned – more information coming your way (conference call).

P.S.  As announced at the STOMPOUT on February 28, 2009, we will be holding tryouts for the Moo Psi Steppers Competition Squad over the summer!  This squad will be co-ed and will be going to the Disney Classic Step Competition in September.
